The Ps5 vs The Xbox Scarlet

Hey guys !, welcome to another post from panda gamez. Today, were going top be talking about the ps5 and the xbox scarlet which is better, hope you enjoy the write up and if you have any question you can Email me or just write it down in the comments section,ENJOY!!

THE PS5

The Sony ps5 will be the next generation play station console, replacing the ps4 slim and ps4 pro. Sony made the tactical decision to skip out on E3 2019, with no big announcements at Gamescon 2019 later in the year either. Microsoft has been more keen to show off it's xbox Project Scarlett console-which we know is also landing at the end of 2020-but it's still early days so we're not entirely sure how the inevitable ps5 vs xbox project scarlett battle will play out.
The ps4 and ps4 pro we're both $399 at launch, but we expect the ps5 will cost somewhat more recent leaks have suggested around $499 mark. The ps5 next_gen console will be compatible with current PSVR hardware and there are rumours for PSVR2. Recent leaks has it that it will come out during the Holiday 2020 so between October and December 2020. So to the specs of the gaming console; The ps5 has a bespoke 8-core AMD chipset based on the third generation Ryzen architecture with a GPU taking the best bits of the Radem Navi GPU family;a built-for-purpose SSD storage system; 3D audio; backwards compatibility with Ps4 games and Psvr hardware; 8k TV support. It's all been revealed by Playstation top-dog Mark Cerny, the guy behind the construction of the ps4 and now in charge of the next-gen consoles development.
While the look of the console remains a mystery, it's internals are coming into focus and they're very promising. That AMD one-two-punch of CPU and GPU unlocks the power of ray tracing, an advanced lighting technique that can bring next-level immersion to gaming visuals. It's a Hollywood technique that's used in big budget CGI spectacles, putting the level of visual fidelity you can into context.
Ray Tracing is done by GPU hardware rather than software level, Mark Cerny told while wired "There is ray-tracing acceleration in GPU hardware",Cerny explained which I believe is the statement that people were looking for. With 8k TV support comes far more detailed textures and which larger ones at that. The news of a bespoke SSD drive will be heartning then-just because the games will be becoming more complex, that doesn't mean they'll be slower to load too. It's estimated that the new SSD is 19 times faster than traditional SSD storage methods (but given the speed difference between the SSD and the optical drive, installation of games will be mandatory).
The physical games for thr Ps5 will use 100GB optical disks, inserted into an optical drive that doubles as a 4k Blu-Ray player and the next-generation hardware will boast a completely revamped UI. According to Cerny speaking about on new UI to being wired, He said "Even though it will be fairly fast to boot games, we don't want the player to have to boot the game, see what's up. Multiplayer game servers will provide the console with set of joinable activities in real time. Single-player games will provide information like what you could do and what rewards you might gain for completing them and all for those decisions will be visible in the UI. As a player you can just jump right into whatever you like".
Audio will reach a new "gold standard" on the Ps5 too, in reference to Cerny, Thanks to a new audio engine that will deliver immersive sound-particularly if you're using headphones. While the details remain unclear, expect something resembling the experience seen within Dolby Atmos Setup. Will you be able to play with people with older models (ps4) ?; Yes, sony has also confirmed the ps5's incredibly powerful backwards compatibility will let you play online with Ps4 players. Though there are rumours that the PS5 could be backwards compatible with the Ps4, Ps3, Ps2 and original Playstation meaning  it's games library could stretch right back to the glory days of the Mid 90s. When it comes to the rest of Sony's vintage catalog ?. That remains to be seen.

PS5-release date
Sony has officialy confirmed the Ps5 will release "Holiday 2020" aka between October and December 2020 as we have mentioned earlier. A recent leak has suggested that the expo date will be November 20 2020 but that's yet to be confirmed. It's in the right window, though, and it does leave time before christmas to get those orders in.

The PS5 Controller
The Ps5 will come with its own controller according to sony. The Ps5 controller (we don't know the official name yet) will include haptic feedback to replace the DualShock 4's rumble technology. This aims to improve the controller's feedback and therefore players immersion.
The controller will also feature adaptive triggers which to say have "been incorporated into the triggers buttons (L2/R2)". These adaptive triggers will allow developers to program the resistance of the triggers to stimulate actions more accurately.
People ask this question what will it look like ? According to a sony patent for a new controller, published by the japanese patent office (via VGC) the Ps5 controller could look very similar to the Dual Shock 4 with some key differences.
For a start, the potential Ps5 controller seems to have a slightly chunker design built-in microphone, longer triggers, no light bar and smaller sticks. It also seems the Dual shock 4's micro USB port has been replaced by a smaller USB-C port, which is placed on the top rather than the bottom of the controller. The lack of light bar really make us question how the PS5 would track the controller via when it comes to PSVR and PS Camera Games. Usually this is done via the Ps camera, so we're hoping the console will have a different means of tracking the controller otherwise compatibility will suffer. Unless of course, sony Gears up to move solely unto PSVR 2. However, this doesn't seem likely as sony has promised the ps5 will be backward compatible with PSVR.
The Ps5 stereo headset jack and extension port at the buttom of the headset has been replaced by two longer circular port but the two jacks could be headphone and microphone slots respectively, to increase compatibility with headsets, which is potentially for compatibility with a charging dock. Again this is all speculations on our part.

PS5 PRICE
Sony hasn't confirmed a price for the ps5 just yet so we can't say for sure what it'll cost but there have, however, been rumours. A recent leak has suggested that it'll cost $499 in North America when it launches but it would be good news if the console did launch at this price as it's only $100 more than the launch price of the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
As you know its unlikely that Microsoft will want to make the same mistake it made in the last generation with the prohibitively high price point of the Xbox so Sony will have to ensure it doesn't make a similar mistake in this generation by being undercut.
Let's wrap this up cause if we're to continue there would be too much to talk about and let's get straight to the Microsoft Xbox Scarlett.

THE XBOX SCARLET (XBOX 2)

Microsoft finally announced the Xbox Project Scarlet during its big E3 2019 keynote conference in June this year. The next generation xbox promises to deliver native 4k games at 60 frames-per-second, a large solid state drive to ensure almost no load times and ray tracing on consoles.
We are s bit limited on information on Microsoft's next generation hardware "Project Scarlet" (code name) but we do know when it's coming out and a handful of the features and specs we can expect when it drops. Faster and more graphically advanced than it's predecessors Xbox Project Scarlet promises to be the most powerful games console in the world by the time it launches late 2020. With custom built components from AMD and an SSD drive at it's heart allowing for innovative game development techniques. It's unlikely to rival some of the top-end Pc's when it launches next year but it should offer a good price-to-performance ratio.
Microsoft ran a similar message when launching the Xbox one a little over two years ago-which is still the most powerful console on the market and it is now doubling down with its next-gen console seriously.
What can i play on it ?
Halo infinite is it's first confirmed launch title, while all previous generations of Xbox console games will be covered by backwards compatibility.
Will Xbox Scarlet have VR ?
Microsoft does not have anything to say about VR on the Xbox yet, though Sony has confirmed that PSVR will work on it's coming console.
What will Project Scarlet cost ?
No price tags have been yet and were not expecting it to be cheap. But Microsoft has said it won't be making the same pricing mistakes as last generation so perhaps we'll be pleasantly surprised.
Xbox Project Scarlet release date
We'll be expecting to see the Xbox fproject scarlet console launch in the "Holiday" window of 2020. That's between October-December of 2020 and just in time for christmas, It's exactly the same sort of launch period we're expecting sony to have for it's Ps5 too. Santa's going to be a busy guy this year.
The rumours painting towards there being two new Xbox consoles on the way, codenamed Anaconda and Lockhart, the former being high and (likely what we've seen here)and the latter being a cheaper, Streaming-focused solution but time will tell it that's Microsoft's plan.
Xbox Project Scarlet's Specs
Now hold on this is the part we have all been waiting for-don't get too excited but this are all speculation and some maybe right and some maybe wrong but anyways let's get right to it.
Using custom-designed processor from AMD maning cue of Zen2 and Navi architectures, Xbox Project scarlet will be 4x more powerful than the Xbox one X. It will be capable of running games st 120Hz frame rates, at potential 8k resolutions, while also showcasing fancy real time ray-tracing tech. An SSD will come as standard as with the Ps5 which will give it the option of using it's storage system as virtual RAM, as well as lifting load time performance by a factor of 40x. That'll let developers stream in far more detailed worlds around a player. In terms of 'standard' RAM, the console will pack a hefty GDDRC. Though gamers are increasingly shifting towards their purchase preferences towards ther convenience of digital downloads, Xbox Project Scarlet will also have a physical disk drive. We also know that the new Xbox Elite wireless controller series 2 that launched in November 2019 will be foward compatible with Project Scarlet. Indeed, Microsoft has confirmed that all your current Xbox one accesories will work with Xbox Project Scarlet, including existing controllers and headsets. But we'd doubt that also includes the ill-fated Kinectimotion tracker.
In addition, benchmark results have appeared online for an AMD 'flute'system-on-a-chip (SOC), leading some to speculate that this could be the hardware that will power Xbox Project Scatrlet. If the benchmark results are real and the AMD flute SoC is indeed going to power the Project Scarlet's console, then it gives us an idea of the console's specifications and potential power level-something that Microsoft has been so cagey about.
To wrap this all up; hope you enjoyed the post but i can't really decide which is better, The Ps5 or The Xbox Project Scarlet so that's why i'll leave it up to you guys to decide which is better in the comments section down below or Email me if you have any questions @ Lexpanda987@gmail.com.
